    It’s during sleep that our body begins to heal and repair. Yet, modern day living does not always embrace the necessity for deep, restorative slumber. Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.   • Sound Therapist Training

    Do you long to learn the art of healing others through sound and vibration? Are you a practitioner interested in offering sound therapy as an adjunct to your healing services? Vibrational sound therapy practises utilize the frequency of the human voice as well as instruments like crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, rattles and drums to go beyond relaxation and stimulate deep and long-lasting healing. Although beneficial, no previous experience with playing an instrument or reading music is required to be a sound therapist or to successfully complete this course.

    Reiki is a non-invasive form of energy healing. According to ancient scriptures, the body’s life-force energy can stagnate in the tissues where there has been physical injury or emotional pain.   • Reflexology

    Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet or the hands. Reflexology is incredibly relaxing and helps alleviate complications of stress. The theory behind reflexology is that areas of the foot correspond to organs and systems of the body. When pressure applied to the foot, a flood of energy is redirected to the corresponding area of the body to offer healing.

  • Float Therapy

    Freed from the constant stress of gravity and external stimulation, float tanks allows you to completely relax your body and your mind. This reduced sensory environment has been researched by neuroscientists for its overwhelmingly positive effects on stress, anxiety, and pain. There is nothing like the complete stillness of floating! To float, you simply enter the specialized chamber and lie down in the water. A dense solution of Epsom salts allows you to float effortlessly to the top.

  • Fascial Stretch Therapy

    Fascia is the fibrous connective tissue that wraps and supports muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, organs, nerves- pretty much everything in your body. When your muscles are chronically tight, the surrounding fascia tightens along with them. Over time the fascia becomes rigid, compressing the muscles and the nerves. Fascial stretch therapy improves blood flow to tired muscles, helping you to recover faster from training sessions with less soreness and alleviate neural complications.
